Accessibility statement
The State Archives in Šibenik is committed to making the web pages of the Journal of Dalmatian Archives accessible in accordance with the Law on the Accessibility of Websites and Software Solutions for Mobile Devices of Public Sector Bodies of the Republic of Croatia (official gazette of the Republic of Croatia Narodne novine No. 17/19; hereinafter: the Law) transposing the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327, 2 December 2016).
The following adjustments of the website have been made
Whenever possible and technologically feasible when creating and publishing content with the accessibility menu in the header of the page, we make sure that it is accessible to people with disabilities, the elderly and / or people with disabilities in a way that certain criteria are met (WCAG 2.0 ):
- The page allows changing of the font type by clicking / touching to a font suitable for persons with dyslexia
- Change the font size
- The end user can change the colour and background of the text
- Keyboard navigation and clear highlighting of the selected menu are partially enabled
- It is possible to highlight links
- The page allows use of a visual focus indicator when navigating the keyboard for all links

The website of the Journal of Dalmatian Archives s partly compliant with the Law with some exceptions (non-compliance) as listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:
- some images and files do not have an appropriate text description (alt text)
- audio commands are not enabled on the page
- some documents are not readable by screen readers
State Archives in Šibenik works towards the elimination of perceived discrepancies.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on June 9, 2021, by using the model accessibility statement that is in compliance with the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, as established by the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523.
The assessment of compliance with accessibility requirements is the result of a self-assessment by the State Archives in Šibenik.
The statement was last reviewed on June 16, 2021. State Archives in Šibenik will regularly revise this statement after eliminating the reasons for non-accessibility of certain content.
