Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration. Otherwise, an explanation must be provided in section „Comments to the Editor“.
- The attachment file was submitted in Microsoft Word format.
- The text is written in Times New Roman CE font, font size 12, line spacing 2 (double); notes font size 10, line spacing 1 (single); the tables are sent as part of the manuscript; the position of the image is indicated in the text and sent in special files (b / w, TIFF or JPEG format, at least 300 dpi).
- URL address for the network available bibliographic units are attached.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Guidelines for Authors.

Author Guidelines
The Journal of Dalmatian Archives uses a system of current bibliographic notes, i.e. references based on the model of the so-called Chicago style of citation, adapted to the Croatian language. We kindly ask authors to follow the Author Guidelines during submission, otherwise, the article will not be accepted. If the article exceeds this limit of 32 text cards with notes, authors must contact the editorial board. Due to a double-blind review the authors must remove from the text (and footnotes) all the information that can reveal their identity.
Articles are not paid and the journal does not charge authors for the review process, the costs of publishing the paper or other costs related to ensuring the visibility of the published work on the Internet.

The copyright holders are the publishers of The Journal of Dalmatian Archives – Sources and Contributions to the History of Dalmatia and the authors. All content of the journal is in completely free online access on the day of publication via Portal of Scientific Journals of Croatia (Hrčak) and journal web pages, meaning that users may read, download, copy, and share content with attribution and source in accordance with the CC BY-NC 4.0 license. By submitting their contribution, authors confirm that they are familiar with the described conditions of publication and the possibilities of using the published work described in the CC BY-NC 4.0 license and that they accept them.
Published articles may be stored in institutional and thematic repositories, provided that links to the journal's website and HRČAK are provided.
